Profoundly Grateful

Have you ever missed a birthday? I have.

Ever looked down at your odometer and wondered… “when did that milestone roll by?”

Ever missed an oil change – by quite a bit? Me too .

Something similar happened here last week. We passed 20,000 page-views β€” and I missed it. Totally completely missed it.

“Really?” I said when I saw it just now. “When did that happen?” I had to subtract daily view counts from the stat-graph to figure out it was sometime a week ago today. Oh-well. Maybe I’ll forget a birthday or two before I hit eighty-something too, ya’ think?

Thanks, friends, for stopping by again and again, making this place the friendly, thoughtful, thought-provoking place it is.

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine last fall that so many would read from so many places (that map in the right hand margin humbles me every time I look over there. Every time.).

Amazing Love.

How can it be that Thou, my God, should die for me?

And then You choose to work through me?

Amazing. Simply amazing.

I appreciate you all,

    Glad I could be of service… πŸ™‚

Truly, I enjoy your blog! Everytime I come here, I remember the little chipmunk story and how you saved him from sure death by setting him in a safe place – and how God is so faithful to us with His loving hand keeping us safe in His arms.

Oops! I thought you were the one who had posted on the chipmunks but I can’t find the story anywhere on your blog!!! So sorry! πŸ™‚

Anyway, I do love your blog even if my memory is quite far gone!!! πŸ˜€

Congrats on so many visitors. Aren’t you glad you don’t have to clean house before we all invade your house? And that you don’t have to clean after we track in with our muddy boots.

Its been fun and we’ve learned so much and shared so much with you and with each other! Thanks for your input into our lives. We won’t ever be the same since coming to the Vibrance site! πŸ™‚

    Thanks everybody ~!

Marie – you’re right about the chipmunk story. I took it down because the next morning one of our dogs “more than noticed him” and escorted him to chippy heaven. Yikes. So much for that sermon from nature, hmm?

Rindy – it’s always great to see you’ve been by. I respect and appreciate the way you’re working the Lord’s life and love into real-live shoe leather.

Jo – Those are two of my main objectives for here, to encourage and share with each other, leaving each other a wee-bit more like the Savior, and drawing those who don’t know Him yet to Him. And doing so in a winsome, enjoyable way.

“If you’ve come to see me, C’mon in.” the sign by the back door said, “If you’ve come to see my house, make and appointment.” πŸ˜€ Was that Donna M in South Dakota?

You know, it was still a very worthwhile story! Don’t we get gobbled up by life if we take our eyes off our King? Just saying…..poor thing…..

Wow…what a milestone. I appreciate you and your page so much, and am glad I found it. Check out 5 things I dig about Jesus if you get a chance…it’s on my site today.

Aridhi – Thanks for saying Hi… I trust God continues to bless you as you walk with Him. I’m amazed at how quickly you learned about his as a new believer; it’s a never-ending quest, walking with God. Great to hear from you again!

    Welcome, Shirley!
Stop by anytime! Sorry about not meeting the chippy – there are more real-life illustrations that’ll show up here, I’m sure. Dad was a natural at ’em, I called them “steering-wheel-sermons”. I’m sure there are more where that came from πŸ˜€

    Hey, Kevin… Thanks!

blessed1… you got me πŸ˜€ I answered, though. How can I not when He’s done so much for me? glad to have you reading in and encouraging -pressing courage into- so many of your readers.

Blessings, all… thanks for coming by!
